How many instructors per swimmer?
1 instructor per 2-3 swimmers in group lessons and 1 instructor per swimmer in private lessons.
Can I make an Instructor Request?
Yes, you may email us your request, but requests are not guaranteed.
What are the age requirements?
Parent & Tot: 4 months - 3 yrs
Preschool: 3-5 yrs
Swimmer: 5+ yrs
Swim Patrol: 12+
Lifesaving: 15+
Adult: No age requirements
Payment Options?
All payments must be made via e-transfer.
What is our cancellation policy?
Refunds for lessons will be issued if classes are cancelled due to pool fouling, loss of electricity, or medical emergencies accompanied by a doctor's note. Refunds are made via e-transfer within 24 hours of a lesson cancellation. Notices will be posted on our social media as well as through email.
What if I miss a class?
We do not offer makeup classes.
Can I enroll after a session has begun?
This is dependent on lesson availability, further inquiries should be sent to our email.
How do I register?
All registration is through iCLASSPRO. At the top right corner of your screen is a button labelled 'Register', press it to register for your swim lesson.
What is the pool temperature?
Our pool has warm water, ranging from 83-88 degrees!
How long are lessons?
Our parent and tot, preschool and swimmer level lessons are 30 minutes. Our Swim Patrol and Lifesaving Programs are 45 minutes. Adult classes range from 45-1 hour lessons.
What qualifications do Can Swim instructors have?
All instructors are required to have their National Lifeguard (Pool) certificate, Lifesaving Instructor and Emergency First Aid Instructor, and Swimming Instructor certifications.
What should I bring for a lesson?
Bathing Suit, Towel (provided if needed), Goggles (many on pool deck), clean pool-deck shoes (shoes worn outside can’t be worn in change rooms and on the pool deck).
